‘Tracker’ Renewed at CBS Along With ‘Ghosts,’ ‘NCIS,’ ‘Fire Country’ and More

CBS has renewed nine series for new seasons: “Ghosts,” which has scored a two-season order, plus “Tracker,” “Fire Country,” “NCIS,” “NCIS: Origins,” “NCIS: Sydney,” “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage,” “Elsbeth” and “Hollywood Squares.”

The series join CBS’ 2025-2026 lineup alongside previously renewed series “Matlock,” “Survivor,” “The Amazing Race” and “FBI” plus new series including “Fire Country” spinoff “Sheriff Country,” “Blue Bloods” spinoff “Boston Blue” (working title) and singing competition series “The Road.”

The “Ghosts” renewal will take the sitcom to its sixth season, running through the 2026-2027 television season. The series, produced by CBS Studios in association with Lionsgate Television and BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions, averages 11 million viewers across platforms when accounting for 35 days of viewing, according to a combination of Nielsen measurement and Paramount Global’s first-party data regarding streams on Paramount+.

“Tracker,” renewed for its third season, is the most-watched entertainment series (non-sports and non-news) on broadcast television and averages 18 million viewers across platforms in 35 days.

“Fire Country,” renewed for its fourth season, averages 10.6 million viewers across platforms in 35 days.

The current season of “NCIS” (renewed for Season 23) averages 10.4 million viewers across platforms in 35 days, while spinoffs “Origins” (renewed for Season 2) and “Sydney” (renewed for Season 3) hit 9.2 million and 7 million, respectively.

“Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage,” a spinoff of “Young Sheldon,” is renewed for its second season. Season 1, which is currently airing, is averaging 12.9 million viewers across platforms in 35 days.

“Elsbeth,” a spinoff of “The Good Wife,” is renewed for a third season. The currently airing second season averages 11 million viewers across platforms in 35 days.

“Hollywood Squares,” a revival of a game show that debuted on NBC in the ’60s, is renewed for its second season on CBS. Having premiered in January, a 35-day viewership average is not yet available, but the series’ 7-day average puts estimates for 35-day daya around 5.4 million viewers.

CBS notes that more series orders and renewals are still to come.

“This season, our new and returning series continue to showcase CBS as the leader in launching and programming the biggest hits with mass appeal for broadcast and streaming viewers,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment. “These returning shows represent a mix of long-standing hits and a new generation of fan favorites. In collaboration with our extraordinarily talented partners in front of and behind the camera, we look forward to delivering another successful season.”
