Emmerdale fans convinced Ella will hold The Woolpack under siege just like Cameron

Emmerdale fans are convinced Ella will return. And when she does, they think she is going to be more psycho than ever before.

Ella’s exit may have aired last night (April 4) but fans do not believe we have seen the last of her.

Everyone in the village doesn’t believe Ella’s innocence, but for some reason the viewers do. However we can’t ignore the fact Ella does have a murderous past. So, if she does come back, could she be the craziest version of Ella yet?

Emmerdale fans predict Ella return

One prediction is that she will actually hold The Woolpack under siege, just like the iconic scenes from Cameron Murray’s reign of terror.

A fan predicted this on a reddit thread. They wrote: “So now that Ella is in prison after she was accused of drugging Chas and smashing the window. Then threatened Liam, Mandy and Chas with a knife and caused Liam’s head injury. Do we think she will escape prison and hold The Woolpack hostage to get revenge? Just like Cameron did?

“She’s clearly not mentally there. And I can see Emmerdale heading in that direction. Or at least a very similar one.”

Another backed it up, adding: “That would be great to watch. I hope in the end she gets mental health support, she is clearly struggling.”

Long-time fans will remember in 2013, when Cameron held loads of villagers in the pub and Alicia was shot in the stomach. He then let everyone out except for Chas and Debbie.

Could Ella repeat Cameron’s siege?

But Marlon was locked in the cellar which was beginning to flood. When he escaped a showdown ensued. Marlon got out of the pub and Cameron followed Debbie and Chas in the flooding cellar, desperate to get Debbie to leave with him.

Ultimately he was electrocuted and died. But the entire sequence remains one of the most iconic Emmerdale storylines ever.

So, could Chas find herself in the exact same position yet again? Once again someone would be attacking the pub in order to get someone Chas cares about to leave with them.

With many fans annoyed at Paula Lane’s exit as Ella, her coming back and doing something this extreme may finally bring a lot of excitement to the character. Then if she went to prison over that, at least we would know she was definitely responsible for what happened.

While Paula has confirmed that was her exit, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that Emmerdale are trying to bluff us. So for now, we have to wait and see.
