Tensions escalate as Steffy and Brooke find themselves embroiled
in a fierce argument. Their animosity runs deep, stemming from
Brooke’s past actions of taking Ridge away from Steffy’s mother, Taylor.
Adding fuel to the fire, Brooke discovers that Steffy is actively undermining her daughter Hope’s future as CEO of Forrester Creations. Steffy’s attempts to sabotage Hope are seen by Brooke as petty and vindictive.
The conflict between Steffy and Hope becomes deeply personal, with Steffy determined to use her position to make Hope’s life difficult. After Brooke humiliates Steffy, the latter vows revenge, seeing both Brooke and Hope as threats who use their charm to seduce married men. Steffy cannot accept the idea of Brooke becoming her stepmother and plots to prevent Brooke and Ridge’s marriage.
