HEARTBREAKING NEWS!! EastEnders reveals Phil Mitchell’s struggle in early iPlayer release

EastEnders spoilers follow for Thursday’s second episode (July 11), which is available

to watch on streaming service BBC iPlayer now. EastEnders has aired emotional scenes

for a struggling Phil Mitchell in the show’s latest episode. This week, Billy finally stood

up to Phil after he found out that Phil had framed Stevie for the stolen money. To make matters worse, before Stevie left Walford for good, he hatched a plan with Mo to sell Phil’s car and give the money to Billy and his family. In the latest episode, Phil was still furious about his stolen car, and Denise was shocked when he took out his anger on Raymond. When Phil asked Callum to help find his car – even though it wasn’t Callum’s department – he ended up in an altercation with ex-wife Kat, who was annoyed that he had shouted at Tommy. Billy and Teddy planned a family meal to get to know each other better, but they decided not to invite Phil. Meanwhile, Phil continued to burn bridges with his family when he rudely rejected Jay’s offer to use one of the cars at the garage.

Kat caught Denise talking to Yolande about Phil and warned her that he has been a bad influence on both Ben and Tommy. After Phil continued to reach out to Louise, he saw his family go into the restaurant and realised he hadn’t been invited. Phil arrived, making things awkward for the Mitchells, and tensions spilled over when Harry brought up his stolen car. Phil accused Harry of stealing his car and they squared up for a fight, with Jay ending up with a bloody nose when he tried to break things up. After some words of advice from Teddy, Phil returned home to see that Raymond had made him a poster for his missing car.

Phil took this sweet gesture the wrong way and snapped at him again, and this was the last straw for Denise, who decided that they were moving out. As Denise told him that he is going to end up a very lonely man, things got even worse when Phil spotted Teddy and Sharon together. Will Phil be able to rebuild his relationships with his family?
