Gabriela’s Fire Country Season 3 Arc Teased By Showrunner

Fire Country showrunner Tia Napolitano has teased Gabriela’s (Stephanie Arcila)

arc in season 3, hinting at what’s next for her character following her recent wedding.

Fire Country season 3 is poised to begin during Gabriela’s wedding vows, as she

is about to get married to Diego (Rafael de la Fuente) in front of a large crowd of onlookers. However, trailers for the new episodes tease their wedding plans will go wrong, with a window of their church exploding as an object flies through. While it’s unclear what this means for their relationship, it could put their wedding in jeapordy. Speaking with TVLine, Napolitano teased what will happen to Gabriela in Fire Country season 3 after her and Diego’s wedding gets crashed by a literal helicopter in the premiere episode. The showrunner explained how her prior interactions with her family are going to impact how she views her current relationship going forward.

She’s also expected to fully embrace her life as a firefighter even more, teasing a larger focus on her career in the episodes ahead. Check out what Napolitano had to say below: Gabriela is going to really examine how her family of origin, being Manny and Roberta, affects who she is, and how she views relationship. [Gabi] is really going to lean into firefighting and succeeding in that area, very hard. What Gabriela’s New Story Means For Fire Country Season 3 She’ll Have Plenty On Her Plate In The New Episodes The Fire Country season 2 finale ended with Bode (Max Thieriot) trying to squash his feelings for Gabriela, including leaving the wedding to get some air while the vows are taking place.

This means her new life with Diego is about to begin, this next step in their journey together a defining moment for what her story will be like in future episodes. But, beyond her wedding day disaster and subsequent relationship drama, she’ll also be dealing with her father, Manny (Kevin Alejandro) getting arrested after punching Luke (Michael Trucco). However, beyond the interpersonal, Gabriela will also be throwing herself full-force into being a firefighter, something that’s been part of her life since early season 1. While this means more interactions with other Fire Country characters as they deal with weekly issues in California, it also means she’ll be able to further her skills in rescuing people and stopping fires.

Since she’s already proven herself throughout the first two seasons, season 3 can showcase how much she’s honed her skills ever since first becoming a firefighter. Our Take On Gabriela’s Storyline In Fire Country Season 3 It Sounds Like She’ll Have Plenty Going On Given the complexities teased for Gabriela in Fire Country season 3, it appears she’ll have plenty of exciting events happening in her life as the new episodes progress. Despite the wedding crash about to take place, her relationship with Diego seems like it could remain stable, even though Bode still harbors feelings for her. But, by digging deeper into her firefighter training, she’ll be able to focus on her career, stabilizing her life in the process.
