Emmerdale star Isabel Hodgins, 31, has married partner Adam Whitehead.

The Victoria Sugden actress announced her engagement in November 2023, after Adam popped the question almost a year after the pair made their relationship official.

Sharing a video of the proposal, Isabel branded the special occasion ‘the best night of her life’.

‘I can’t wait to spend forever with you,’ she added.

Last year, she announced to her 156,000 Instagram followers that they had ‘finally’ moved in together, but now they have taken an even bigger step by tying the knot.

Isabel has taken to Instagram to share two adorable polaroids from her big day.

In one picture, the happy couple are sharing a kiss, while the other snap sees them showing off their wedding rings.

The Emmerdale cast were full of support

The comments section of the post was full of supportive messages from Isabel’s Emmerdale cast mates, with Kerry Wyatt star Laura Norton branding the occasion the ‘best day ever’.

‘Congratulations to you both,’ Vanessa Woodfield actress Michelle Hardwick wrote, while Charity Dingle star Emma Atkins penned: Beautiful, so happy for you both.’

Bradley Johnson (Vinny Dingle), Lisa Riley (Mandy Dingle) and Amy Walsh (Tracy Shankley) also offered their congratulations, while former co-star Daisy Campbell, who played Amelia Spencer until last year wrote: ‘So happy for you iz.’

Eden Taylor-Draper and Rosie Bentham couldn’t contain their excitement, with the Belle Dingle actress writing, ‘screaming crying throwing up’, while the Gabby Thomas star said: ‘Can’t cope.’

Isabel has appeared on Emmerdale since 2006, and her character Victoria is set to be part of a major storyline when she digs into John Sugden’s (Oliver Farnworth) past later this week.

Viewers will know that John is hiding plenty of murky secrets, so could Victoria be set to expose them?
