Emmerdale’s Katie Hill has confirmed an upcoming love triangle storyline involving her character Sarah Sugden.
With things having gone majorly south with her and Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant), Sarah is looking for the next thing to keep her busy and take her mind off her pregnancy scare.
The youngster had a bit of a moment when she took a test and she realised she was pregnant, at a time when boyfriend Jacob wanted nothing to do with her over his belief Noah (Jack Downham) was the reason his mum died.
With Jacob giving her the cold shoulder, Sarah prepared to go it alone.
Only she received the worst news possible during a routine pregnancy check up at the GP – Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) revealed she was in fact not pregnant at all.
While one might expect her to be relieved by this news, for Sarah this was devastating. It meant possibly having lost her only chance at having a family given her curtailed life expectancy.
Who is Sarah’s new boyfriend in Emmerdale?
Having been dumped and having had the worst news about her baby, Sarah is in need of a distraction.
Enter Kammy.
He enters the scene at a time when there is a spate of farmyard thefts, in particular an expensive quad bike is nicked from Moira’s.
Sarah then happens across a lad struggling to start a quad bike on a country lane. When she speaks to him, she knows he’s not being honest, but she’s intrigued by his bad lad vibe. He’s triggering her Dingle senses.

Kammy rides with Sarah into the village, but he’s nervous – clearly a thievery noob.
But Sarah is a Dingle and knows it’s nicked, so when Ross (Mike Parr) approaches, Sarah is quick to back Kammy’s innocence.
It’s because she sees her next ticket to a bit of fun and before long, they’re racing the quad bike in the field.
‘Kammy’s a really fun, bubbly, cheeky chap character. He’s a bit of a bad boy, but I think he’s also got his soft side as well’, star Katie explained.
‘And I think the audience are really going to like him. There’s so much they can do with this character, and I can’t wait to see where Sarah and Kammy go together. I think he’s going to be a really good character.’

Pondering over Jacob’s potential jealousy towards Kammy, and how that could lead into a love triangle storyline, Katie said: ‘I think that will definitely be on the cards. It’s funny as well because they’re so different. Kammy’s a bit of a bad boy. He’s a bit of a cheeky chap. Jacob, he’s a trainee doctor, way more sensible than Kammy is.
‘So, it’ll be interesting to see which way she goes. But it’s been fun for me, dipping in and out of both sides of Sarah. Because when I’ve been doing the stuff with Kammy, the Dingle side comes out of her and then I think Jacob brings her back.
‘It’s been really fun going between the two guys. We’ll have to wait and see what happens with that.’
