EDGEWATER, CA (October 18, 2024) — A helicopter towing a message
banner above Edgewater, California, suffered engine failure and crashed
on Friday afternoon, systemically placing family members and loved ones
of former Three Rock prison camp inmate Bode Leone in danger as it plummeted to the ground.
“I’ve never seen anything like it,” said one eyewitness who had never met nor is related to Leone. “That helicopter was maybe 20 feet off the ground when it took a hard left turn at Sienna Lane, after waiting for the light to change, and made a beeline for Smokey’s.
We interrupt this news report to bring you the many questions we had coming out of CBS‘ Fire Country Season 3 premiere, which aired on Friday night and saw Gabriela’s already iffy wedding to Diego interrupted by a wayward tail rotor, and put several lives in jeopardy when the roof of the aforementioned Smokey’s collapsed.

1 | Did anyone catch the hiccup in hair continuity, when the cold open switched from what we aready saw in the May finale to the new footage shot for the season opener?
