Fire Country Shocks Fans With Possible Spinoff Led By a Marvel Star

There is nothing more exciting than talk of a spinoff when it comes

to an already beloved TV series. In the case of CBS’ Fire Country,

however, the excitement is mixed with an obvious shock,

as the show has only been on the air for one season, and no one could have expected such a rapid expansion of the world.

However, in a fierce competition between all the firefighting dramas on television, Fire Country has confidently taken its place under the sun, with many viewers claiming it to be the best out there. Whether it’s because the show is truly innovative in its premise, or simply because it’s still fresh and intriguing, audiences want more.

And the producers are happy to oblige! Not only will Fire Country be back for Season 2 this February, but it may also be developing into a spinoff with the name of a well-known action star attached to it. Here’s everything we know about the potential Fire Country spinoff.

Will There Be a Fire Country Spinoff?

The drama’s second season will hit our screens on February 16, but that’s just a fraction of the exciting news that awaits Fire Country’s loyal fans.

Not only will the season bring back the regular cast established in the first season, but it will also introduce some new characters to the world. Morena Baccarin’s Sheriff’s Deputy Mickey will also make her debut in season 2.

Not many details are known about her character at this point, but she must have a strong personality to be a possible lead for a spinoff. As a sheriff’s deputy for the past fifteen years, she’s as dedicated to her job as one can be, fiercely protecting her town from any trouble it might face.Though the description is still as vague as the spinoff’s prospects of taking off and being developed into an actual series, chances are the viewers would be quite receptive to both the character and the possibility of having a whole other series to enjoy on the side.Morena Baccarin is not new to CBS, as her filmography includes an appearance in another fan-favorite drama, The Mentalist. Aside from procedurals, the actress is widely known as Vanessa Carlysle from Marvel’s Deadpool, as well as Homeland’s Jessica Brody and Gotham’s Leslie Thompkins.

Whether you’re interested in a spin-off or just want to see all the familiar characters back for another round of the most dangerous adventures, be sure to tune in to CBS on February 16th to be the first to see the premiere of Fire Country season 2.

Stay tuned for more news and behind-the-scenes updates!
