Fire Country centers around convict Bode Donovan (Max Thieriot) and the members of the Cal Fire team, including their red-hot romances.
During season 1, Bode returns to his hometown and joins Cal Fire in exchange for a reduced prison sentence. While there, he steps into a love triangle between his former BFF and firefighter Jake Crawford (Jordan Calloway) and Gabriela Perez (Stephanie Arcila), the daughter of fire captain Manny Perez (Kevin Alejandro).

“There’s this undeniable thing that Bode and Gabriela have been trying to fight, but they’re losing that struggle,” Thieriot, who cocreated the CBS series, told TV Insider in January 2023. “And he and Jake were best friends. Can they overcome this? It’s all juicy stuff to deal with.”
Season 2, which premieres in February 2024, will continue to depict the complicated dynamics between Bode, Gabriela, Jake and more characters.
While the relationships on screen are fiery, off camera many of the actors have found everlasting love.

Max Thieriot (Bode Donovan)
The former Point Break actor has been married to Lexi Murphy since June 2013. The couple got engaged one year prior after seven years of dating. They have since welcomed sons Beaux and Maximus in December 2015 and January 2018, respectively.
