Race ya there?” the caption teased, alongside new images of Max Thieriot’s Bode and Morena Baccarin’s Sheriff Mickey Fox. CBS followed up the next day with an official announcement, sharing more details, including a temporary change to the timeslot. For the premiere week, Fire Country and its spin-off will swap places. Fire Country will air at 8/7c, allowing fans to learn Vince Leone’s fate after the Bella Vista accident before diving into the debut of Sheriff Country at 9/8c. Starting the following week, both shows will settle into their regular slots, with Sheriff Country leading off at 8/7c and Fire Country returning to its usual 9/8c time.

Expect Lots of Crossovers Between ‘Fire Country’ and ‘Sheriff Country’

To build excitement, CBS will air a series of Fire Country reruns this Friday, accompanied by bonus content in the form of a featurette. Thieriot and Baccarin will guide viewers through the new spin-off that will follow Sheriff Fox as she strives to maintain law and order within Edgewater while battling personal issues of her own.
