Emmerdale star Mike Parr and girlfriend Isabelle Du Plessis have confirmed some exciting family news.
The actor, who recently returned to the ITV soap to play bad boy Ross Barton again, and his other half announced that they are going to become parents.
On their Instagram pages, the couple shared photos of them in a room on the beach, with Isabelle cradling her baby bump. They also wrote “MJP IDP soon 2B3” in the sand.
“In our Mum & Dad Era,” their caption reads.
Plenty of Emmerdale co-stars past and present commented with congratulations, including Jay Kontzle, Anthony Quinlan, and Jamie Dorrington.

Heartstopper actor Bradley Riches, who recently made his Emmerdale debut as Ross’ brother Lewis, said: “Mum and dad are hella sexy.”
Parr recently spoke about how Ross is initially hesitant to open up to Lewis, but will soon let his guard down.
“You’ll see that the character is quite infectious and it’s hard for Ross to say no to him, because he is very pure and it reminds him of Finn,” he said.
“It’s been nice for Ross to have somebody on his side, because he was starting to think that he was the touch of death. Everybody he gets close to seems to get killed off. He’s lost two girlfriends, four family members, and he’s had a lot of unlucky situations.”
