Debbie was last seen in the Dales in 2021, and didn’t even return for grandad Zak Dingle’s funeral last year.
But after seeing her with numerous co-stars, fans are hoping Charley has had a change of heart.

Charley Webb joined Emmerdale as Debbie Dingle in 2002, before departing for good almost two decades later in 2021.
During an interview in 2023, Charley reflected on her Emmerdale exit and insisted she had no regrets.
“It felt like the right time for me personally to make that jump from Emmerdale and I don’t have any regrets about it,” she said.
“I’m ambitious to push myself and it’s just about choosing the right projects from now on. It’s hard to say no to work, but I trust my agent and I trust the process. Hopefully, I’ve made some good choices so far.”
Debbie Dingle was a popular Emmerdale character. During her time in the Dales, she faced teenage pregnancy and numerous relationships with both men and women.
Fans were shocked, however, when she didn’t return for Zak Dingle’s funeral following the real life death of actor Steve Halliwell. But has Charley now had a change of heart?

Could Debbie Dingle return to Emmerdale?
Actress Charley Webb recently took to Instagram, where she uploaded a carousel of photos.
Amongst them was one of Jeff Hordley, who plays her father Cain Dingle, holding a dog. She captioned that snap: “Best boy (& girl).”
She also uploaded a picture of herself alongside a group of her former co-stars. Captioning the picture: “Lucky to have these girls,” the picture showed the likes of Natalie J. Robb (Moira Dingle), Eden Taylor-Draper (Belle Dingle), Charlotte Bellamy (Laurel Thomas), Katie Hill (Sarah Sugden), Zoe Henry (Rhona Goskirk) and Charley herself, enjoying a night out.
Could a reunion with co-stars spur on a return? Fans certainly hope so. They loved the picture and jumped into the comments to beg Charley to come back to Emmerdale.
“Awww wish you would come back to the dales. Loved seeing Cain (Jeff) in ya pics,” wrote one fan, with a second adding: “Need you back in ‘The Dales’.”
