Emmerdale spoilers for next week reveal the police think they’ve got their man for Joe Tate’s attack, but have they got the right person?
Meanwhile, John and Mackenzie’s feud might just put one young villager in hosptial and the past causes problems for Moira.
Here’s our pick of the plots for next week in Emmerdale

1. Billy arrested for pushing Joe in Emmerdale spoilers
Last week saw Joe Tate’s list of enemies grow bigger by the hour. And one of them took revenge and pushed him out of a window following a disastrous party at Home Farm.
As Joe lies in hospital fighting for his life, the police are questioning all of the suspects. One name stands out: Billy Fletcher.
Scorned husband with a history of violent assault, Billy is the prime candidate for having done it. As he is arrested and taken to the station, did he really push Joe?

2. John and Mackenzie’s feud puts lives in danger
With John lording it up over his upcoming heroism award, he is forced to miss the ceremony when Aaron has a mental health crisis. Tracy and Victoria organise a celebration in the Woolpack instead, but Mack misses out and is annoyed.
He’s also jealous of Aaron and John’s relationship and starts to plot against the latter. At the stag do, a chilling warning is issued and when Mack sneaks off, John follows him in pursuit of his prey. Will he catch him? And is Mack in serious danger?

3. Harry rushed to hospital in Emmerdale spoilers
There is a serious leak in the slurry tank at the farm and Moira is shocked when she finds it. John, however, is thrilled because Mackenzie gets the blame. Does John know something about this?
John’s delight is shortlived when Cain reveals the slurry has posioned the water supply to the village. And when Harry drinks some of the contaminated water, John is horrified as his nephew is loaded into an ambulance.
Will Harry be okay? Has John’s revenge gone very wrong and he’s inadvertently hurt his own family? Or is Mack really to blame?

4. Moira haunted
A letter arrives at the farm addressed to ‘The Family of Emma Barton‘. Freaked out Moira does not share it with Ross at first. However soon, with past memories haunting her, she gives the mysterious letter to Ross.
He is stunned to discover he has a half-brother he knew nothing about. Ross decides to do nothing about it until Matty urges him to take action.
Meeting up with Lewis, Ross is overwhelmed by all of Lewis’ questions. He needs to keep the family’s dark secrets and it’s tricky to be completely honest. Ross gives up and leaves, not wanting to see Lewis again. But will Lewis give up that easily?

Liam catches Mandy in a compromising position at home and is horrified. Soon he asks Chas if he can move in with her and she agrees.
But the move is making Bear feel insecure about his own living arrangements. And when Mandy and Paddy box up his things, Bear really starts to panic.
Elsewhere, Liam agrees to keep Manpreet’s secrets, but he’s not happy about it. He feels he can’t trust her any more, so will he live to regret it?
