In Emmerdale tonight (Tuesday May 13) Billy and Dawn attempted to get their story straight, while Charity and Noah were taken in for questioning.
Elsewhere, Aaron Dingle got upset as memories of Gordon infiltrated his mind again.
Here’s a rundown of what happened in Emmerdale on Tuesday.

Dawn and Billy put up a united front
The police questioned Dawn Fletcher on her revised statement. Dawn claimed she lied because she’d been on edge. When Billy came to join them, he repeated the line about being on edge.
The whole thing looked rehearsed, but the police seemed convinced by Billy and Dawn’s story so left them to it.
Billy then set to work telling Dawn what they needed to do – it’s clearly not his first rodeo.
“You’re gonna have to say that you dumped Joe before he was pushed. Because then if he tries to accuse you, it just seems like he’s trying to get you back for dumping him,” Billy told Dawn.
He later told Dawn they had to pretend to be back together as then it’d be easier to keep the lie going.
After Billy moved his stuff back into Home Farm, Dawn warned him not to get the wrong idea, that it was all just pretend. However, when Kim informed her that Joe was being brought out of his coma in a couple of days, she realised she needed to show a united front with Billy.

Charity and Noah were questioned by police
After accepting Dawn and Billy’s version of events, DS Dasari headed over to see Charity Dingle and take her in for questioning.
They revealed that a glass was found at the party with both hers and Joe’s fingerprints on. “The residue inside the glass contained traces of a sedative,” the officer said.
Charity, who is obviously well versed in dealing with the police, played it cool and turned it around, acting horrified that Joe might have been trying to spike her.
However, her glee at being set free didn’t last long as the DS shared: “That leaves one suspect… Noah.”
Next, Noah was taken in for questioning. He was played a recording of a voicemail he had left for Joe, which said: “Why can’t you be a man and answer your phone. I know that you did it. I don’t care what you say. I’m not gonna let you get away with it.”
Noah of course pleaded his innocence, but he became agitated when told that the Police had eliminated everyone else who was at Home Farm from their enquiries. Will Noah get arrested?

Aaron had Gordon flashbacks in Emmerdale on Tuesday
John arrived home to find Aaron in tears. Aaron soon shared: “I thought that I’d put all the Gordon stuff behind me. And then yesterday it was the anniversary of his death.”
Aaron went on to explain that Anthony’s death and Ruby confiding in him have led to it all building up inside him.
Cringey John apologised for not noticing that Aaron was suffering. He apologised again for letting Aaron down – despite it not being his fault, not this time anyway.
John decided he would ditch his hero prize giving to stay with Aaron. Aaron tried to tell him otherwise, but he insisted he wasn’t going.
In the pub, John was firm that everything he needed was right there.

Moira received a blast from the past
After attempting to cheer Ross up, who was down about the fact a girl he liked had slept with Ryan instead, Moira discovered a letter addressed to ‘the family of Emma Barton’“.
She read the letter but quickly hid it from Ross. Will she divulge the contents to him?
