As Eastenders gears up for its huge live episode later this month, things have become a little more complicated between Denise Fox and Ravi Gulati.

Viewers have seen Denise being torn between Ravi and Jack Branning and, to celebrate the soap’s 40th anniversary, the public will be voting to decide which man she chooses.

Tonight’s episode saw Denise experience the contrast between bad boy Ravi and dependable Jack when she needed help, ending in an unexpected kiss.

Already suspicious of Ravi’s business dealings, Denise walked in on him while he was on the phone telling someone: “You pay what you owe or next time it’s not a phone call. Do you understand?”

Ravi brushed the call off as just suppliers taking liberties, however he admitted that he’d missed his son Nugget’s last dialysis appointment because of work.

Denise then visited Kim at the salon and told her about the call, saying she knows Ravi is definitely up to no good. But as Kim accused Denise of liking the fireworks Ravi brings, the electricity went off in the salon.

Denise went to Ravi to ask him to help but he told her he couldn’t and instead offered money for her to get a handyman. Luckily Jack soon appeared at the salon and sorted the fuse, causing Kim to remark on how dependable he is.

Meanwhile, Ravi was visited by Priya who confronted him about dealing drugs and pleaded for him to stay out of trouble for the sake of their children.

Later, Jack and Denise had a heartfelt conversation where he told her he now knows what he’s lost and, if he could go back, he’d change a lot of things.

Ravi later went round to see Priya and apologise for how he acted earlier. Priya asked him why he’s turned to dealing when he already has enough to provide for his family.

She said she fell in love with him when they were young because he was kind and now they have kids she doesn’t want them to lose their dad.

After Priya broke down in tears, Ravi went to comfort her, leading to the pair sharing a tender kiss.

How will this affect Denise’s love triangle?
