Emmerdale’s Tom ‘rumbled’ as fans ‘work out’ three villagers will ‘rescue Belle’

Emmerdale fans are speculating that three women will join forces to bring down Tom King.

The despicable vet, played by James Chase, has been subjecting his wife Belle Dingle, portrayed

by Edem Taylor-Draper, to emotional and physical abuse for months. His reign of terror

escalated when he discovered she had terminated their unborn child.Belle initially deceived Tom by claiming she had suffered a miscarriage, but she confessed the truth earlier this week, leaving him enraged. In Friday’s episode (June 28), Charity Dingle, played by Emma Atkins, arranged to spend some time with Belle. However, manipulative Tom ensured Belle stayed by his side, feigning a fall from his wheelchair to make her feel guilty about leaving him. They later managed to visit Jimmy (Nick Miles) and Nicola King’s (Nicola Wheeler) for dinner, but Belle failed to inform Charity that she wouldn’t be meeting her due to Tom’s fall, reports the Express. She pledged to uncover the truth about Tom and Belle’s situation, leading viewers to believe that the trio of women will unite to take him down. On X, formerly known as Twitter, one Emmerdale fan wrote: “Prays there’s a “the three” where Chas, Lydia and Charity collectively kill Tom.” Another chimed in with: “Charity, Chastity and Lydia – the Three Musketeers all set to rescue Belle!”

A third person commented: “Witches of Eastwick kick a**e..” A fourth agreed: “Dingle women coming for Tom, hope they string him alive tbh! “. Emmerdale spoilers have hinted that Belle will start to feel the pressure next week as Charity, Chas, Lydia and Mandy (Lisa Riley) probe her about her relationship with Tom. Charity urges Belle to reveal what’s really happening but Belle is infuriated by their constant questioning and storms off. Finding an upset Belle outside the Woolpack, Charity gently asks her once more to open up. Belle becomes emotional, but seeing Tom approaching, she pushes Charity away and runs home in a panic. Charity is left stunned as Tom dismisses her concerns about Belle and insists his wife is battling with her mental health. The other women are concerned that Charity may have overreacted and she leaves the room in frustration, fearing she’s lost her opportunity to convince them that something’s not right. Back at home, Tom’s demeanour changes, and he makes a phone call to arrange an interview for a job in Wales.

The following day, Charity attempts to make amends with Belle, but she’s not having any of it. Tom is in the midst of a virtual job interview when he’s reminded that the position is located in an extremely secluded part of Wales. He hints to the interviewer that Belle would be thrilled to relocate there. Upon her return, Tom proposes a holiday to Belle, eager to whisk her away to a remote cottage. As she becomes more receptive to the idea, he’s quietly satisfied that his scheme is falling into place. Viewers will have to stay tuned to see if Charity can stop Tom’s plan to remove Belle from the village.
