Tom has to think on his feet next week as he sneaks into Moira Dingle’s home, in a bid to steal back his missing iPad. Viewers know that the police are trying to find the device, after Tom was reported by his wife Belle Dingle for domestic abuse. Emmerdale’s Tom King nearly strikes again next week with his violent actions, with one unsuspecting character facing being killed After Belle attacked Tom with an axe in self-defence, she now needs to prove her ordeal as well as her fears that Tom had been spying on her with secret cameras. There’s evidence on the iPad that he’d been recording her around the house without her knowing.

Tom is desperate to get his hands on it before anyone else finds it, and it seems he’ll go to any length necessary to get it. So much so he considers attacking and possibly killing a character next week as they almost uncover his plan. As Tom sneaks into Butlers Farm, knowing the iPad is there, Matty Barton heads home and disturbs him. As Tom hides, he has to wait until the coast is clear – but Matty falls asleep on the sofa. Tom takes this moment to sneak into the room to get the device, only for Matty’s phone to ring and he wakes up. Moira asks Matty to look for her seizure journal, and it seems that Matty is about to enter the room where Tom is. A preview clip for the episode sees Tom picking up a candle stick and wielding it, preparing to attack Matty.

As Matty is about to enter the room, Tom gets ready to swing it around, with the plan to knock out Matty and possibly killing him in the process. Luckily for Matty he leaves the house and doesn’t enter the room, so he has no idea what Tom was about to do. With Matty safe, Tom sneaks into the other room and prepares to take back his iPad which he will later try to destroy. This isn’t the first time Tom has violently attacked someone and left them for dead though to cover his tracks. When he believed Vinny Dingle was about to rumble him stalking Belle via her phone, he whacked him over the head and left him unconscious on the floor. Vinny survived the ordeal and no one has ever found out what Tom did. But given this has happened twice now, how long until Tom strikes again and someone ends up being killed?
