Emmerdale star quits social media in video post leaving fans concerned

It’s been a dramatic few weeks for her character in the Dales EMMERDALE

actress Beth Cordingly has sparked concern after quitting social media. The star

plays Ruby Fox-Milligan in the ITV soap opera but regularly interacts with

her fans online via Instagram. Beth often uploads comedic videos to her social media accounts which have racked her up tens of thousands of followers. However, as her celebrity status continues to grow with her Emmerdale success, Beth has now admitted that she is quitting social media for a number of weeks. Beth appeared more downbeat than usual as she cuddled up to her pet cat for a video where she made the surprise announcement. The actress made no clarification as to why she had made the decision but did admit she would be gone for a “little while”. Speaking directly to her fans, Beth said: “Hi guys, we [Beth and the cat] are having a few weeks away from social media, aren’t we?”

She then blew her fans a kiss as she added: “Sending you all love – I’ll see you on the other side.” Her cat then meowed as Beth tried to get him to “say something” as she closed up the video clip. Her unusually glum demeanour appeared to spark worry among her fans and supporters as they reached out with supportive messages in the comments section. Questioning if Beth was okay, one fan wrote: “Oh no hope you are OK? Always be you. Don’t let anyone suppressant that.

“Your happiness is so important, don’t let others p*ss on it. Take care lovely.” Another added: “Aww I hope everything is okay, sending you love and thoughts anyway, take care of yourself and your close ones. “Enjoy your you time, and hope to hear you again when the time is right for you Beth xx.” TikTok star Ellen Stafford, known by her pseudonym Webkinny, penned: “Aww I will miss your posts. You are such a lovely lady. We appreciate you! I look forward to your return. Much love x.” Whilst a fourth of her followers wrote: “Take care, be back soon lol.” Beth’s character Ruby has had a dramatic few weeks on the Dales. She was left fighting for her life after being caught up in a horror barn fire caused by her husband’s sister-in-law having an as-then unidentified brain tumour. Just a week later, she was hit by the death of her absent mother Helen. However, she did manage to find time to bond with her family and reignite her romance with Caleb.
