The truth is out in next week’s Emmerdale spoilers as Charity discovers Sarah is secretly battling cancer. Heartbroken to have been kept in the dark about her granddaughter’s illness, Charity demands answers.

Sarah is suffering in silence in Emmerdale spoilers
Sarah’s world has been turned upside down by the news she has cervical cancer. The disease was discovered after Sarah embarked on a journey to become a mum. She went for an examination at a local IVF clinic, where doctors discovered a swelling on her cervix.
Tests then confirmed Sarah had the early stages of cancer. This is the second time she has been diagnosed. Sarah suffers from the life-limiting illness Fanconi anaemia, and has already overcome a battle with throat cancer.
The terrified teen has chosen not to share her diagnosis with her family. So far only Sarah’s ex-boyfriend Jacob knows what she’s going through and he’s been unable to get her to open up to Charity and Cain.
But Sarah’s secret is about to catch up with her.

Sarah receives positive news
Next week Sarah returns to the hospital to undergo a procedure to retrieve her eggs. After the surgery, Dr Knapp informs Sarah they were able to retrieve a good amount of eggs from her ovaries.
Sarah is told her eggs will be tested to see if they are viable for IVF. This doesn’t guarantee she will achieve her dream of becoming a mum, but it’s a glimmer of light in the darkness.
Meanwhile, Charity remains totally oblivious to the fact her granddaughter is seriously ill. But not for much longer…
