a moment following Zak Dingle’s death last week, hinting at unfinished business between the pair. It’s bad news for Ella as Chas and Liam continue to grow close next week. Will they get back together?
Ella’s job is at risk
Ella has been a divisive character since it was revealed that she killed her childhood best friend in a fit of rage when they were 11.
But regardless of her history, she’s managed to forge a relationship with Dr Liam. However, when Liam’s former flame Chas invites both Liam and Ella to the Halloween event in the pub next week, Liam struggles to hide his feelings for Chas.
Meanwhile, there is further bad news for Ella in her professional life. Paddy has delayed sacking Ella, but she’s picking up on his strange behaviour.
Chas and Liam kiss
Previously on Emmerdale, Liam comforted Chas over the death of her beloved uncle Zak Dingle. Chas opened up to Liam about how important Zak was and how he was like a dad to her.
After rejecting a call from Ella, Liam told Chas he wanted to stay with her. Chas then told Liam he should leave before he said anything that he might end up regretting.
Next week, Liam awkwardly confesses his feelings for Chas. The feelings are reciprocated and they end up kissing.
Liam prepares to break up with Ella, but will it go to plan? Later in the week, Liam finds himself under pressure.
