Emmerdale’s Mackenzie Boyd finds himself in grave danger next week
as he find himself blocked in a barn by a bull and he’s forced to think of his
feet and make a huge decision. Mack (Lawrence Robb) psyches himself
up to dodge the bull and make it to the barn gate. He makes a desperate run for it as the bull chases him. Soon thrown to find the bull in the barn, Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter) hears a groan and rushes over to help injured and in pain Mack and Mack is convinced John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) is responsible for putting the bull in with him as revenge. Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) confronts John but soon passion takes over. Later, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) tries to motivate Mack for an afternoon planning revenge on John, but he goes quiet and woozy before collapsing on the sofa, leaving her horrified that something serious has happened. John continues to make his presence felt in the village although if he had his own way he’d have been long gone before now.
His van, which is also his home, ended up in a lake after Mackenzie and Aaron stole it and Mack left it parked by the lake but forgot to put the handbrake on. – Advertisement – Mack psyches himself up to dodge the bull and make it to the barn gate (Image: Mack Boyd) The feud between Mack and Aaron on one side and John on the other showed no signs of cooling in recent scenes after John threatened Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) with the police and Cain forced Mack to apologise to him and to get the van out of the water and sort it out at his own expense. When Mack and Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) saw John apparently lurking at Butlers later they tried to ambush him, but once again John showed that he’s faster in a fight and he took a swing at Mack. Cain intervened and explained that he’d given John a job so he could earn some money while his van was being repaired.
This job offer wan’t as random as it sounds, because it turned out that John had previously worked as a farmhand. Victoria was pleased to hear that John will be staying in the village for a bit longer, because she really wants to get to know him more. However, this won’t be easy, because so far John has been very reluctant to give anything away about himself. He’s guarded and defensive and as much as Victoria and Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) have tried to be friendly to him, he doesn’t seem to want to get to know his new family. Fans will have to wait and see what trouble is ahead for John and if he is responsbile for Mack’s confonration with the bull.
