The pair were trapped inside and trying to find a way out of the blaze, just as the barn erupted into a fireball. Fans were sure the soap legends could not have survived it, and are now fearing both or one of them will die. But could it all be a red herring?

Some fans think so, predicting a character will die in the aftermath of the fire. But they think it could be someone else in a sad twist, possibly from smoke inhalation. Viewers are questioning whether someone who was in the barn but got out may die in a tragic twist despite seeming to have survived. Ruby Miligan and Mackenzie Boyd are both tipped to be killed off in the aftermath.

Taking to X, one fan posted: “I think someone will die of smoke inhalation possibly Mack or Ruby.” Another said: “Better not be Ruby.’ It comes as fans also speculated Nate Robinson would die in the blaze, with actor Jurell Carter leaving the role after five years. He wasn’t shown near the fire, but was last seen on the farm during Monday’s episode.

Viewers can’t help but wonder if in a major twist he will be killed off.
