Emmerdale fans outraged as they slam ‘horrific’ change at Kim Tate’s Home Farm

Emmerdale fans were left absolutely gobsmacked after clocking something “horrific”

at the iconic Home Farm. The soap opera lit up telly screens again on Monday night (July 29),

showcasing Kim Tate (Claire King) on a mission to suss out the top dog plotting her downfall.

ITV viewers will remember that recently Kim had to pack her bags and leave her precious Home Farm behind, all thanks to Rose Jackson’s (Christine Tremarco) cunning plots. Rose stamped her mark on the drama earlier this year when she rocked up as Will Taylor’s ( Dean Andrews) ex and Dawn Taylor’s (Olivia Bromley) mum and she’s also got ties with fellow villager Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly). Ruby, who’s got it in for Kim, has got Rose wrapped around her little finger, blackmailing her to help bring Kim down a peg or two, reports the Express. Not long ago, Rose spun a tall tale, framing Kim for spiking someone’s drink.

But Kim’s not daft and she’s twigged that Rose is gunning for her and there’s probably another puppet master in play. In the meantime, Rose has swanned into the grand Home Farm, living the high life. During Monday’s (July 29) trip down to the village, Rose settled in even more, splashing out on a candy floss machine of all things. Her ex-Will wasn’t feeling it though, his mind wandering back to Kim.

Fans were left distracted by the new sign (Image: (Image: ITV)) However, it was an unexpected detail in the background that sparked a flurry of comments from viewers. Fans quickly took to social media to express their distaste for a new sign in Kim’s kitchen, which read: “Live every moment, laugh, love, every day.” On a Reddit thread, one viewer commented: “I didn’t have Rose down as a “live, laugh, love” kind of girl but good god that sign is horrific.” Kim was forced to move out of her iconic farm (Image: (Image: ITV)) Another chimed in: “That’s definitely new, isn’t it? ? ? I can’t imagine Kim ever going for anything like that, nor the neon cocktail sign.” Meanwhile, on Twitter, a third fan wrote: “They don’t seriously expect us to believe Queen Kim Tate would have Live Laugh Love decor,” followed by a sick emoji. Another responded: “She doesn’t lol. I think it’s meant to show how Rose is changing things…and that she’s tacky af.”
