Recently, Emma Barton returned to the village after years. Viewers must know that she had a bitter feud with Moira Dingle, which ended in her death in 2017. Moira hallucinated the villain in the barn fire scenes while holding Ruby Fox-Miligan at gunpoint.

She mistook Ruby for Emma and started a fight, which led to the fire. Before the blaze, Caleb wrongly assumed Moira had kissed Nate. Consequently, Cain confronted Moira, but she dismissed them. Despite her denial, their argument escalated.

Later, Ruby came to gloat but felt sorry when Moira didn’t react to her taunts. Soon after, Moira accidentally spilled tractor fuel in the barn. As Ruby’s voice mixed with her old enemy Emma’s, Moira aimed her shotgun at Ruby. She locked the barn and kept seeing Emma instead of Ruby.

In a panic, Moira fired a warning shot that shattered a light bulb, sparking a fire. However, when she came out of her daze, she couldn’t understand what was happening. Viewers were left stunned by the scene. The official Emmerdale account teased the moment on X (Twitter).
