Emmerdale serves up another dramatic week, as confirmed in my new spoiler pictures,
as Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) sets out to save son Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) from
a life behind bars. Matty, as fans know, was jailed for stabbing Samson Dingle (Sam Hall),
despite the whole incident being an accident, with Samson pushed onto the knife by manipulative teen Josh (Osian Morgan), who provoked Matty previously. Moira has been determined to get her son out of jail but Sam Dingle (James Hooton) refuses to help, firmly believing his son to be in the right. With Samson and Josh intent on leaving for their European trip sooner than expected, Moira vows to stop the pair. Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick), meanwhile, starts to suspect that Samson might not actually have told the police truth about the stabbing after all and therefore she meets with Moira, who urge her to help.
When is Tom King leaving Emmerdale amid Charity Dingle twist on ITV soap? Dawn’s worst nightmare as Evan is rushed to hospital in Emmerdale – and a loved one is to blame Will Lydia manage to get Samson to confess? Will the truth finally come out? Over at the prison, Matty is feeling more at ease now that cellmate Les has accepted him as a trans man and he relays such a thing to Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) during a visit. Amy is relieved to see her husband in such good spirits, especially given that she brings with her good news too, revealing that they’ve got a new solicitor who could get him out of jail!
It’s all going so well – that is, until Amy is approached by sinister inmate Robbo. Assuming Robbo to be supportive Les, Amy inadvertently reveals the truth about Matty to Robbo, who later confronts Matty alone in his cell. Will Matty be okay? Can Amy and Moira get him out of jail before things get violent? Or is there more tragedy in store?
