The fate of Emmerdale’s beloved canine Piper appears to have been revealed

in a first-look clip. Viewers will remember how Tom King, played by James Chase,

has been tormenting and manipulating his wife Belle Dingle, portrayed by Eden

Taylor-Draper, for months. However, Belle recently managed to escape his clutches and declared their marriage over. Despite their separation, Tom has been attempting to win her back with numerous grand gestures. Unbeknownst to Belle, Tom has secretly installed cameras in her home and is monitoring her every move. In Friday’s episode (August 16), the villainous Tom stooped to new depths when he attacked Belle’s cherished dog, Piper.

During the episode, Tom confronted Belle at the Woolpack during Sam’s (James Hooton) birthday party.
