EastEnders has aired a huge change in the dramatic Reiss Colwell plot, in the show’s latest episode.

This week, Sonia was encouraged by Yolande to delete the footage of Bianca’s confession, but when she watched the video one last time she made a frightening discovery.

She spotted that the dollhouse in Bianca’s video was the same as the dollhouse which Reiss recently brought home – and she realised that her fiancé was hiding something.

In today’s episode, Reiss returned home after his car failed to start, while Bianca continued to try and escape from the lockup.

As Reiss desperately tried to fix his car, Sonia questioned him on where he had been. When he mixed up his stories about where he got the dollhouse, she confronted him about where Bianca was.

After Sonia showed Reiss the incriminating footage, he explained some of the truth, saying that Bianca had the idea of making a false confession and they recorded it together in the lockup.

He claimed that she was now in hiding from the police, but Sonia was suspicious that Bianca knew all the details of the murder – and was horrified to finally realise that it was Reiss who killed Debbie.

Reiss stopped Sonia from leaving and tried to explain the truth, but she was furious. He revealed that he had locked Bianca up and said that her sister was now dead.

Sonia was devastated and tried to escape, and as Reiss grew manic and threatening, he suddenly collapsed after being hit with a teapot – by Bianca, who had escaped the lockup.

The sisters had an emotional reunion and then went to see Jack, leaving Reiss lying unconscious. They explained the situation and Jack headed round to take care of Reiss.

Sonia decided to return to the house, scared that Reiss had hurt Jack, and Bianca followed. While Jack was unharmed, they were shocked to discover that Reiss had disappeared.
