Emmerdale viewers believe they have pieced together the identity of a potential fourth victim from last month’s shocking limousine crash.
The ITV soap previously aired a dramatic stunt week, with several characters’ lives hanging in the balance after two separate limo accidents.
The limousine transporting the ladies to their night out was later identified as the one that plummeted into an icy lake, tragically claiming the lives of three popular characters.
Suzy Merton was the first to perish in the accident, dying instantly when the limo crashed into the lake. Leyla Harding later died from blood loss in the ambulance, and Amy Barton succumbed to hypothermia in hospital.
Viewers are now speculating that another well-known villager could meet a tragic fate due to the aftermath of the crash.
Later in the week, there’s a shocking incident at the pub when Chas collapses under mysterious circumstances and hits her head, reports Leeds Live.
John Sugden is left stunned when he finds Chas unconscious on the floor and begins to question what led to the incident.
After viewing this week’s spoilers, Emmerdale fans are theorising that Chas’s fall could be the result of a “serious” injury she sustained in the crash – and it might not end well.
One Emmerdale fan shared a theory on a Facebook group, claiming: “I think Chas was more seriously injured in the limo crash than at first thought and that’s why she collapses. Chas has been shown holding her side and wincing a few times following the crash,” while another agreed, saying: “Think Chas was hurt more in the crash.”
Speculation is also rife among viewers regarding Cain Dingle’s mysterious flashforward scene, which showed him standing beside a newly dug grave.
One worried viewer expressed concern by saying: “I hope Chas is not going to die!! Is that the grave we see Cain by? Hope not,” with someone else suggesting: “When Cain was standing over a grave crying this is gonna be either Chas or Nate!!”
However, other fans are of the view that Chas won’t face fatal consequences, given her long-standing history in the show.
One person commented: “I don’t think it will be Chas, she’s too much of a main character. I may be wrong but long serving cast members don’t often die unless they have asked to leave permanently. They tend to go abroad or somewhere else for an extended period and return at some future point, even if played by a different actor.”
