Coronation Street Daisy star’s new job ‘sealed’ and it’s on huge reality show

Coronation Street’s Charlotte Jordan, who shot to fame playing the role of barmaid Daisy, could be set for a stint on a major reality show.

The actress made her debut in 2020 and quickly became a fan favourite as the stepdaughter of Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews). Over the years, Daisy has been involved in several big storylines.

These include a harrowing acid attack storyline to shock affairs, ensuring her time in Weatherfield was filled with drama. Particularly in the last twelve months, Daisy not only tragically lost her baby but also fell out with Jenny, who had been like a mother to her.

As a result, she recruited her mum Christina (Amy Robbins) to set up a plan to catfish Jenny, in a bid to get their hands on Jenny’s cash.

However, earlier this year, Charlotte announced that she had quit the soap, and on Friday (May 2), Daisy said her goodbyes to the cobbles in explosive fashion.

Now, according to bookies, she could be set to sign up for this year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing. In exclusive odds provided by Betway, the bookies have chalked up odds of 4/1 for Charlotte to appear on Strictly Come Dancing.

She also has odds of 5/1 to land a role on a Netflix show, and 8/1 for a stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, reports Leicestershire Live.

As for another appearance on a soap, she has odds of 16/1 for an EastEnders stint.

Betway spokesperson Mike Reading remarked: “With Charlotte Jordan stepping away from Coronation Street, fans are eager to see what’s next.

‘And the latest odds suggest a turn on Strictly seems the most likely, but with her versatility, she could easily pop up in the jungle or in a new Netflix show!”.

“While the odds of a switch to another soap remain slim-EastEnders and Emmerdale are priced at 16/1 and 25/1 respectively-speculation continues to swirl around Jordan’s post-Corrie career.”
