EastEnders’ Chelsea to confess the truth about horror crowd crush

In upcoming scenes, EastEnders’ Chelsea Fox is set to confess the

truth following the horrific crowd crush. Last week, Penny Branning

hosted a club night at Peggy’s, and jealous of her promotion,

Chelsea decided to meddle with the booking system and release more tickets. Her actions meant that the club quickly became overcrowded, and a terrifying crush led to a number of Walford residents getting severely injured, including Lauren Branning and Amy Mitchell.

Amy was most severely hurt, as she suffered a cardiac arrest, leaving her loved ones fearing that she wouldn’t survive.

Thankfully, Jack was later told that while his daughter had fractured her pelvis, she was in a stable condition, though she remained asleep.

But when the police found that tickets had been illegally issued using Penny’s log in, Jack blamed her for what happened and even told Penny that he loved Amy more than her.

The aftermath of this major incident will continue in scenes that will air next week, with Jack struggling as he tells Amy the extent of her injuries when she wakes up.

Denise is on hand to offer support to Jack, but she is later shocked to see her daughter Chelsea pestering a nurse to get an update on the condition of the other crush victims.

She is alarmed by what she sees, but she is soon distracted when Penny and Lauren arrive at the hospital. Denise tries to convince Penny to tell the truth about the crush, but Penny remains firm that she wasn’t to blame for what happened.

Next week, Denise also has her own worries, as Dean’s murder trial is taking place, and she and the other women of The Six are desperately trying to keep the truth under wraps.

She is upset about the dramatic events of the trial, and snaps when Kim tries to ask her about it.

But later, Denise puts this to the side when she finds Chelsea in a state and takes her daughter home to comfort her.

It is then that Chelsea tells her mum the truth about her involvement in the club crush. How will Denise react, and what will be the consequences?
