Emmerdale fans are convinced Joe Tate will not survive his kidney transplant in a dark health twist orchestrated by Dr.Crowley.
Only recently, it was discovered that Joe (Ned Porteous) desperately needed a kidney transplant or he would die as his organs continued to fail.
After drugging and targeting his half-brother, Noah Dingle (Jack Downham), he soon learned they weren’t a match. This then led to Joe targeting his uncle Caleb Miligan (William Ash).
After an attempt to spike Caleb’s drink at his warehouse depot went wrong, Joe resorted to violent measures as he enlisted his violent accomplice Shaun to stab Caleb and steal his car.
On Thursday night (March 27) , Joe’s private doctor, Dr Crowley (James Hillier), was left horrified at the proceedings as he struggled to keep Caleb alive and retrieve his kidney for Joe.
At one point Caleb flat-lined as the character’s life hung in the balance after receiving a single stab wound to his body, and his chances of survival started to dwindle.

However, on Friday’s episode, it was revealed Caleb had thankfully survived and in a sickening twist Joe had taken his kidney, which had been surgically implanted.
However, Emmerdale fans are convinced Dr Crowley has implanted Caleb’s damaged kidney from the stabbing despite telling Joe the organ was unharmed, and this will spark Joe’s tragic end.
Taking to Facebook, one fan wrote: “My theory is that Joe received Caleb’s damaged kidney and it’s going to fail… Devine Retribution..”
A second added: “Good serve him right”, while a third chimed in with: “We can only hope that it doesn’t work and his put himself & others at risk. Karma will prevail in the end.”
Another pointed out: “The kidney wasn’t damaged”, as another explained: “But it could still fail. The police will want Joe as a witness to the attack and what are they going to say = sorry he is in hospital after a kidney transplant lol.”
“I hope it does horrible man”, exclaimed another.
