As Tracy is desperate to prove her innocence, viewers have spotted one problem

Emmerdale fans have spotted an error in judgement from the Dales police after Tracy Robinson was wrongfully arrested for the murder of Nate Robinson.
As viewers will recall, villain John Sugden accidentally killed Nate Robinson last September just before he was set to leave for a new job in Shetland. After the lake was dredged, his body was found and soon the villagers were pointing the blame at those around them.
During Thursday’s (12th June) hour long instalment, Tracy ended up in the Woolpack and was quick to throw more accusations at Cain Dingle.
She soon found herself in a brawl with Ruby Miligan who teased that Nate must have “died from boredom” as he was married to Tracy.
In true soap timing, the police walked in just as Tracy had grabbed Ruby by her hair. The fighting quickly stopped and everyone was reluctant to tell the detective what had been going on.
As Tracy made more snarky comments about Cain being arrested, her tune soon changed as the police informed her that Vanessa failed to back up her alibi from the night in question.

She was then led out of the pub, arrested on suspicion of Nate’s grisly murder, while John shifted uncomfortably in his seat.
However, some viewers are questioning the police’s reasoning for accusing Tracy, as they ask how she would have been able to dump his body in the lake by herself.
After Emmerdale posted the clip on their official Instagram page, @belouminous81 questioned: “have the emmerdale police not considered the logistics of Tracey lugging a 6 foot bloke into the lake??”
Another viewer @bernadette_81_ replied: “yeah like they did ruby they questioned her about getting a body to the lake when she confessed about her dad thinking it was his body !”
@daisy_wookey agreed: ” exactly, they didn’t believe Ruby about her dad because of this exact reasoning so why not apply this same logic to Tracy?”
Ruby recently attempted to confess to the murder of her abusive father Anthony Fox, but the police struggled to believe she worked alone as they questioned how she’d be able to move a man of his size on her own.
However, Joe Tate saved the day anyway when he found a contact in Spain who forged Anthony’s passport and handed “himself” into the police to prove he was “still alive”.
