Emmerdale‘s Tracy Robinson could be about to make a major faux pas in Nate’s death storyline.
Tracy has been struggling to make ends meet for herself and her daughter Frankie after Nate’s disappearance. She thinks her estranged husband has walked out on them, but viewers know villain John Sugden is responsible for his death.
In tonight’s episode, Tracy went to the GP practice to get a prescription for Frankie and opened up to John about Nate’s disappearance.
“I can hardly keep my head above water,” she said as the two of them were having coffee.

“Nate hasn’t given me a penny since he left,” she continued, saying she was thinking of tracking him down in Shetland — where Nate was supposed to start a new job — and asking him to do his part to support Frankie.
John tried to dissuade her, saying: “If he’s still there. I mean, he might have already moved on.”
Desperate to cover his tracks, John told Tracy that looking for Nate wouldn’t be worth it.
“He’s a rat who ran out on his wife and daughter,” he said. “Looking for him will not solve anything. You deserve better.”
“You don’t need Nate,” he insisted.

Tracy said she was overwhelmed with financial problems. Consumed by guilt, John offered to book her in for counselling to have a safe space to talk about her ordeal.
After work, John checked in with Liam Cavanagh about offering Tracy some counselling sessions, with Liam telling his colleague he trusted his judgement.
Elated over finally being given more responsibilities, John went the extra mile and also arranged for Victoria to talk to Tracy, as they both were single mums.
He gave her sister money to buy a bottle of wine for herself and Tracy. Surprised but willing to help, Victoria took the money and headed to Tracy’s.

“He’s on sone mercy mission to support us single mums,” Victoria told Tracy as she showed up on her doorstep.
During their chat, Victoria tried to reassure Tracy that she could be just fine without Nate and could rely on other people helping her. But Tracy didn’t sound too thrilled about asking her loved ones for more support.
“I wanna be able to treat her to nice things,” she said of Frankie.
After Victoria left, Tracy opened her mail, finding a new credit card addressed to Nate.
Will she be tempted to use it and impersonate Nate, not knowing he’s dead?
