Coronation Street is set to expose Millie Silverton’s shocking pregnancy lie.
Viewers will know that Millie, the daughter of Theo, has been faking her pregnancy in an effort to ruin his relationship with Todd Grimshaw.
Scenes this week have seen her scheming further as she notices her father’s jealousy over Todd’s growing closeness with James Bailey, with the character deciding to book Todd a training session with James as an apology for her recent behaviour.
Of course, this is an effort to drive a further wedge between her father and Todd – though in new scenes set to air next week, Millie’s pregnancy lies are threatened by the latter.
Millie gets into a panic after her dad reveals that he is going to speak to her teacher about her pregnancy, with Todd cottoning on that she is lying about expecting a baby.
He suggests to her that she tell the truth about what’s going on, to which an emotional Millie agrees.
Todd says that she should take a pregnancy test to show that the original gave a false positive, and assures her that he won’t tell her parents.
Theo later returns home, and Millie reveals that she has something to say – will she tell her dad the truth about her pregnancy?
In other Coronation Street news, the show is lining up a big new stunt involving a speeding car heading towards Fiz Dobbs, meaning the much-loved character could be placed in grave danger.
Filming pictures recently emerged from the scenes, with other actors seen on set including Liam McCheyne and Ryan Mulvey, who play Dylan Wilson and Brody Michaelis respectively.
