Hasty Exits
Eileen is set to leave Weatherfield next week, but the main question is whether she will take her partner George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) along. Eileen shows George and Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas) a Gazette article that suggests they are involved in an insurance scam.
George understands that this could damage the business and informs Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce), but who wrote the article?
Meanwhile, Jason flirts with Danielle Silverton (Natalie Anderson) at The Rovers, and she is taken aback when he reveals that Todd is his brother.
Later, Jason asks Eileen to move to Thailand with him and be his business partner; Eileen is tempted but tells her son that George would never agree to it.
George Considers The Move After Jason Spills The Beans
Jason informs George about this, and he is surprised; George tells Eileen that he is ready to relocate to Thailand and has even arranged a trip for tomorrow to scout the area.
However, when Eileen overhears Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) telling his daughter Millie Silverton (Kaitlyn Earley) that he wants to be with Todd and can no longer pretend, his statement strikes a chord.
George notices how it affects Eileen, and confides in Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) about his concerns, and it’s evident that Steve is aware of more than he is revealing.
Later, Eileen informs George that the police have closed the investigation into Julie Carp’s (Katy Cavanagh-Jupe) death, and then she declares her intention to accept Jason’s proposal. She wants to invest in his bar and move to Thailand-but will George accompany Eileen?
Mixed Messages
Next week, Carl kisses Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine). Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) flirts with Carl at the garage to provoke jealousy in Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson).
When Carl receives a text from Fiona Morley (Sara Poyzer) asking to meet, Abi feels jealous, thinking she might be his girlfriend. Fiona visits the garage, and Tracy is curious when she hears Carl claim he’s the boss—what is he planning?
Abi observes Carl getting close to Tracy, and later, she implies to Tracy that Carl is a womanizer, suggesting she should keep her distance. Carl then confronts Abi, accusing her of having feelings for him.
Stolen Kisses
Abi refutes this and warns that she will inform Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) if he does not step away; Carl encourages Abi to be truthful and leans in for a kiss.
Will Abi reciprocate, or will she slap him silly for his obvious pass? The next day, Carl and Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) stop by with bacon sandwiches, and Kevin notices Abi’s unease.
Carl cuts off Debbie when she mentions an unhappy customer at the garage, raising Kev’s suspicions. But should he be more vigilant about Carl spending time with his wife?
Teenage Tussles
Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) warns Lou Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty) that Dylan is coming home from the STC, and he wants no trouble from Brody.
Sean hopes to celebrate Dylan’s release with lunch at the Bistro, but Dylan prefers a quiet meal at the café instead. Brody enters, and Sean promises to protect his son, but Dylan claims it’s Brody who should be cautious.
Later, Dylan follows Brody to the ginnel, but what happens next- Sean informs Dylan that he has talked to the college, and they might consider readmitting him; however, Dylan brushes it off.
As Brody confronts Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) for reporting him to the police, he approaches her, and Dylan steps in to defend her; what action will Dylan take?
Tim Metcalfe Upsets His Wife Over Secret Fostering Plans
Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) causes tension with his wife Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) as she enjoys having the house to themselves once more, while Tim remains silent about his fostering meeting.
When Sally discovers Tim all dressed up and the house in perfect order, followed by the arrival of a social worker, what will Sally’s response be?
Sally shares her concerns with Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) about Tim’s desire to foster a child, expressing her fears that they might be too old for this. Will Glenda assist in shifting Sally’s viewpoint?

As Dee-Dee and Daniel exit the Bistro, James steps out of a cab with Laila; what emotions will Dee-Dee experience upon seeing her daughter again?
Debbie Regrets Her Split With Ronnie
Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) feels remorse over her breakup with Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan). As she grapples with her diagnosis of vascular dementia, Debbie finds it difficult to count her change in the store.
However, when her former partner Ronnie offers assistance, Debbie retorts sharply, asserting that she can handle it on her own.
The following day, Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) expresses her gratitude to Ronnie for lending her his drill. As Leanne departs, Ronnie notices Debbie observing them; will this make Debbie hesitant to be truthful with Ronnie?
