There’s a surprise recast among the Platt family in the latest instalment of Coronation Street, during a particularly dramatic day in Weatherfield.
As dangerous Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton) escaped from prison and ended up at the high school to collect daughter Joanie (Savanna Pennington), the kids were terrified to find the killer on the grounds.
Lily Platt was among the pupils seeking safety, and she locked herself in a classroom and failed to let scared cousin Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) inside.
In the aftermath, Sam’s dad Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) will confront half-brother David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) about Lily’s actions.
Fans will have noticed that Lily is now played by a new actress, and you can find out all the details below.
