It comes after a midsummer party in Weatherfield went wrong for Weatherfield’s young residents

Coronation Street fans think they have ‘solved’ how Aadi Alahan will leave the cobbles ahead of a Weatherfield legend’s return.
The shop manager is currently in a panic as he is trying to hide the fact drugs were at his midsummer party, and that he accidentally spiked Lauren Bolton with them.
As viewers saw during Monday’s (June 23) Corrie episode, Aadi was furious to see Brody Michaelis was attempting to sell drugs and tried to throw him out.
But the teen wouldn’t go quietly. It took Bernie and Kit Green to arrive to get him gone, however, the LSD was left behind and Summer convinced Aadi and Nina Lucas to try it, saying she had some while in America.
Aadi divided the LSD into three cups and while Summer and Nina knocked back theirs, Aadi was distracted by an incident and when he returned, he realised someone accidentally took his drink.
Viewers were quickly made aware it was Lauren who had unknowingly taken the drugs and was in a bad away as she left the party in a paranoid state, before taking herself into the ginnel where she hallucinated her former abuser, Joel Deering.
While Aadi did eventually come to her aid, Lauren started to believe he was Joel and tried to take refuge in Underworld, leaving him outside. He finally got his chance to gain entry when Carla Connor arrived to find the factory unlocked, having trusted step-daughter Betsy to do it.
Finding Lauren, who had fallen during her escape at the emergency exit, Aadi took her back to No.7 to try and sleep it off, but the following morning, she collapsed and at the hospital it was revealed she’d suffered a broken rib and a ruptured spleen.
It was Carla who was by her side and was intent on investigating what had happened when Lauren insisted she wasn’t drunk, and her story rung bells back to when Carla herself was a victim of being spiked with LSD by killer Stephen Reid.
She soon got girlfriend DS Lisa Swain involved, sharing how she was sure Lauren had been spiked and needed to be tested. Lisa, who is currently on desk duties, then instructed DC Kit Green to speak to those at the party, starting with organised Aadi who denied any drugs being involved in the party.

But Corrie fans think Aadi’s lies will be found out eventually, and that’ll be how he leaves Weatherfield after actor Adam Hussain confirmed he’d be leaving the ITV soap after five years.
@RyanSoapKing25 said: “I wonder if Aadi will get arrested and that will be his exit #Corrie.” @mikepriestley13 commented: “So this will be the beginning of the end of aadi I reckon. #Corrie.”
On Reddit, h0llie123 wrote: “Aadi is gonna get done for spiking isn’t he?, really annoying tbh he’s the nicest and most respectful young male character there’s been in years” iggers82 adde: “Probably get arrested by DS Swain to add to her back catalogue of wrongful arrests.”
It comes amid the upcoming return of Aadi and Asha’s dad, Dev, after it was confirmed Jimmi was back filming following a break from his long-running role.
Dev has been absent from our screens since February, when he had to leave Weatherfield to deal with a family emergency as he was told his auntie Gita had suffered a nasty fall, so he headed off to India to help take care of her, leaving new fiancee Bernie Winter in Weatherfield, along with his kids.
In real life, actor Jimmi, who first debuted in the role of Dev in 1999, went travelling but has now returned to filming. Speaking to Digital Spy, Tanisha Gorey, who plays Asha, enthused: “Yes, Jimmi’s back after his long-awaited return.
“He’s seen the world, doing everything that we all want to do! But he’s back now. He’s back filming and he’s back busy. It’s really good to have him back. He is really like a father to me and it’s so nice to see his face around the building again.”
