Coronation Street fans are convinced they know which character Summer and Nina “left for dead.” Viewers were left on a dramatic cliffhanger on Monday night after Aadi’s midsummer party caused chaos among the Weatherfield residents.
Earlier in the day, Bernie made Aadi feel boring so he decided to arrange an impromptu gathering for his friends. But before he knew it, large groups of teenagers arrived at the house, including troublemaker Brody.
Aadi was furious to find out that Brody had brought LSD to the bash and decided to throw him out. But after Brody left, Summer convinced Aadi and Nina to try it.

Aadi divided the LSD into three cups and Summer and Nina quickly knocked back theirs. But Aadi was distracted by an incident and when he returned, he realised someone had accidentally taken his drink.
It was later revealed that it was Lauren who had mistakenly drank the drink and she ran away from the party. Feeling the effects of the LSD, Lauren experienced intense hallucinations of Joel Deering, whom she killed at the end of last year.
Meanwhile, Summer and Nina were also experiencing their own hallucinations. At the end of the episode on Monday, the two teenagers were in distress as they told each other they “couldn’t go back”, leaving it to our imagination about what they could be talking about.

It became clear that Summer and Nina had witnessed something horrific, whether it be a tragic death or a devastating accident. Following the huge cliff-hanger, Coronation Street fans were left baffled as they tried to come to terms with what could’ve happened to cause the girls so much distress.
On Wednesday, fans learned more about Summer and Nina’s tragic night as they retraced their steps. Nina revealed they “left someone for dead.”
Elsewhere on the cobbles, Maria Windass was left wondering where her husband Gary had gone when he failed to return home. Liam questioned his whereabouts, which made Maria even more concerned.
Eagle-eyed fans started to piece the two storylines together, with some suggesting that Gary Windass could be the mysterious victim that Summer and Nina keep referencing.

Taking to social media, one fan said: “I think Summer and Nina have hit Gary with a car or something whilst off their head on drugs.. it fits that Gary has just gone missing all of a sudden and they have said left them for dead?”
Another suggested: “I reckon Nina and Summer are responsible for leaving Gary in hospital next week.” A third also agreed with the suggestion: “Did Lauren wack Gary thinking it was Joel & Summer and Nina saw it and run off.”
More added to the conversation on X: “Wait a minute Nina just said they left someone to die, Gary’s gone missing so maybe Lauren thought she saw Joel when actually it was Gary and she killed him ? Random I know but could happen.”
Coronation Street fans will have to wait until Friday’s broadcast to learn more about Gary Windass’ suspicious disappearance. Will he turn up, or has he been caught up in a violent murder?
