Lisa lashes out in Classic Emmerdale

After some advice from Del, Lisa decides to speak to Zak and clear the air, but she’s annoyed when she finds him comforting Rosemary again. Later Rosemary gives Zak a pen knife that belonged to her first husband. Zak’s touched, and when Lisa sees it, he lies and says he found it in Seth’s hide.

Later, furious Lisa marches over to Rosemary’s and confronts her. She confesses that she’s worried Rosemary has replaced her in the family! And then she attacks Rosemary!  Zak manages to break up the fight and drags Lisa back to the Dingles’ cottage where they have a blazing row.

Belle’s upset and asks Rosemary to put things right. Mrs King does the right thing for once and convinces Lisa that her intentions towards Zak and Belle are honorable.

Paddy puts his foot in it

Paddy’s embarrassed when Rita makes a big deal about his heroism over dinner with her parents. When he snaps and tells Rita she’s going over the top, her mum bursts into tears! It turns out Rita’s sister was run over and killed. Paddy feels awful.

Feeling guilty in Classic Emmerdale

Kelly’s shocked to discover she could be facing years behind bars. In the hope of getting a more lenient sentence, she decides to plead guilty. She throws herself into wedding planning, wanting a distraction.

Meanwhile, David’s also feeling guilty about what happened with Katie but he continues his plan with Del to swindle Eric.

Classic Emmerdale: Hari’s plan backfires!

Grayson finds Hari injecting Boomer the horse. Hari tells him it’s vitamins and encourages Grayson to gamble more money on the race. Grayson gets the cash from his mum, after he finds her in a low moment after being attacked by Lisa!

Louise is worried the horse could be drugs tested, but Hari reassures her. As the day of the race dawns, things start well for Boomer but three fences from the end the horse pulls up with an injury. Hari is devastated and bats off Louise’s attempts to comfort him. Things get even worse when Gray demands his £15k back.

When Rosemary finds out what’s happened she forces Gray to tell her everything and it gives her an idea. She finds Hari and tells him she’s prepared to write off the debt, as long as he does something for her…

Hari’s intrigued and goes to Home Farm to find out more, only to come face to face with Gray. Gray tells Hari that his part of the deal would mean testifying against the Kings, and implicating them in Tom’s murder.

Of course cash-strapped Hari agrees. Gray and Rosemary tell him he has to tell the police that he overheard all three brothers talking about how to get rid of the murder weapon.

Hari’s in too deep!

Hari’s willing but when Gray says he needs someone else to back up his story, he goes to Louise. What will she say?

Rosemary isn’t impressed by Hari getting Louise involved and refuses to write off the debt until the Kings are behind bars.

The brothers are shocked to hear Hari and Louise will be testifying against them. Knowing Hari must be lying, Matthew corners the vet and demands to know who’s put him up to lying about what he heard.

Meanwhile, Carrie warns Jimmy to stay away from Scarlett.

Christening chaos!

Ashley’s alarmed by Viv’s Christening plans and comes up with a plan of his own. He and Laurel discuss the benefits of small Christenings in Viv’s earshot, and to Ashley’s relief she says she’s going to tone things down. But Donna gets involved and encourages her mum to make it as big and brash as possible!

Bob’s worried about money, though, and asks Jamie and Kelly to contribute instead of buying a present. He turns down Eddie’s offer of assistance, but when Viv’s plans ramp up even more, he reconsiders.

With things growing more extravagant, Bob throws caution to the wind and starts spending! But when he realises the financial predicament he’s in, he makes a phone call about a loan.

Classic Emmerdale: Mother and daughter united?

When Val finds Rodney and Paul trying on their outfits for Sharon’s wedding, she’s glum. Rodney vows to bring mother and daughter back together.

He invites Sharon for a drink in the pub and makes sure Val’s there, too. She  tries to lay on a guilt trip with her daughter, but Sharon won’t budge and it’s not long before a huge row breaks down.

Paul steps in to separate his mum and his sister, and begs them to forgive one another. Sharon gives in  and agrees that Val can attend.

Making plans

Betty, Edna and Pearl go shopping for supplies for the village show, while Sandy and Len stay at the pub in case Alan shows up. But they get drunk and when Alan does turn up, he leaves again in a huff!

With none of the villagers interested in the show, the oldies decide to make their own float and settle on a futuristic theme.

Laurel gets tragic news in Classic Emmerdale

Elsewhere, Laurel’s frantically cleaning, wanting to impress her parents when they visit. Ashley’s relieved when Emily steps in to help.

Later, Laurel’s nervous as she gets ready for her parents and not impressed when Ashley invites Betty and Sandy to join them.

An unexpected visit from the Bishop, leaves Laurel with yet another mouth to feed and she starts to panic.

But despite Laurel’s worries, the lunch goes well and when everyone has gone, she and Ashley toast the day. Things take a turn though, when the police pay a visit. Laurel’s parents have been in an accident.

As she sits at their bedside, her dad Doug starts to recover, though mum Hilary is in a coma.

Later, Laurel is worried to find her dad’s hospital bed empty and freshly made. Fearing the worst, she goes to find him and she’s relieved to track him down sitting by her mum’s bedside.

Things fall apart at the Christening!

Meanwhile, the bishop offers to step in and take the twins’ Christening.

Bob’s relieved at the offer, but he has more on his mind! Dawn’s headstone arrives complete with a photograph of Kelly! The grieving dad is more shocked when he realises that the mistake is wall his fault and he is forced to hand over the Christening money to put things right.

As the big day arrives the bishop is surprised to find nine godparents gathered round the font! Bob’s close to losing it and when he realises that he doesn’t have the money to pay the caterers, florist, sculptors or the bakery, he goes into meltdown.

He turns on his heels, flees from the church and runs away!

Jimmy takes a chance

Facing a future without Kelly, Jimmy suggests to his fiancee that they head off to look for Bob. He’s hiding his real plan, which is to go on the run ahead of Kelly’s court hearing the following day. None the wiser about what Jimmy’s up to, Kelly agrees to go and packs a bag.

Meanwhile, Jimmy pays Scarlett a visit to say goodbye. But when Carl twigs what’s going on, he tries and fails to talk some sense into Jimmy.

Later with Kelly up to speed on what Jimmy’s done, the couple make an appointment to buy fake passports to aid their escape. But, the pair are conned by the dodgy chap who’s doing the deal. After a few choice words, Kelly has a change of heart and tells Jimmy that she can’t live as a fugitive – she’s going back to the village.

Elsewhere, embarrassed Viv lies to the disbelieving villagers that Bob’s away on business, not wanting to admit the truth. Meanwhile, Jamie is trying to talk his dad into returning.

Meanwhile, Eli finds Billy stacking shelves in a supermarket in Sheffield.

And when Ashley returns to the village, and news spreads about Laurel’s parents’ accident, Emily is worried about her friend.
