Chicago Fire: What’s the Near-Death Incident Waiting for Severide and Stella?

In the next episode of Chicago Fire, Kelly will have to save his wife from a near-fatal

incident during a dangerous call. What’s waiting for the couple and will they fare? Chicago

Fire has noticeably lowered the number of dangerous rescues in the last few seasons,

and many fans even dubbed it “a soap opera set in a firehouse.” While a reasonable observation, it looks like the show isn’t content with such a title, and the next entry — Season 12, Episode 10 — will feature a risky call that will endanger Stella Kidd and her rescue target, making Kelly Severide rush to her rescue, in turn. Kidd and Severide Will Get in a Pickle Recently, NBC released a new promo for the upcoming episode via TV Promos. In the 15-seconds-long video, you can see the new rescue call — and a precarious situation it will lead to, putting Stella in grave danger with no one but her husband to try and save her.

Here’s what’s going to happen to everyone’s favorite couple. In Season 12, Episode 10 aka The Wrong Guy, firefighters get a rescue call with a peculiar premise: a car crashed into the second floor of a building and got stuck in the wall. With the driver stranded mid-air, it falls to the rescue team to get him out safely — but as Stella approaches the man and tries to get him out, the unstable vehicle starts dangling, putting both her and the target in danger of plummeting.

Danger Always Brings Stellaride Closer As in many previous cases, we can only guess that Severide saving Stella will melt some of the ice they still have between them after Kelly’s disappearance. Their relationship has always been built on passion and impulses, and nothing awakens those quite like some good old risk of imminent death on a call, does it? While it’s more than likely that the danger will warm Kelly and Stella up to each other again, it’s also not the ultimate resolution of their conflict. Until these two learn to communicate with each other, discuss their feelings, and work as one unit not only on calls but in their personal lives, too, they’ll keep having terrible conflicts like this.
