Severide to be worried about his wife. The One Chicago show’s main love line has gone
through a lot, but time and again, they have proven their commitment to each other by staying together amid a series of issues. Despite their respective reservations about making a life-long promise, they ultimately tied the knot on the Chicago Fire season 10 finale, although their honeymoon was ruined by an attempted murder against them which they luckily survived.Since then, the pair has returned to Firehouse 51 and settled back into their old routine. While other Chicago Fire couples suffered, they seem only to be getting stronger as a pair. This doesn’t mean that they don’t face their own share of trials and tribulations, the latest of which is revealed in the new Chicago Fire season 11 trailer (via @beckystellaride) which teases Stella Kidd’s devastating fate following a dangerous rescue mission. This isn’t the first time this year that Stella’s life was put in grave danger. The Chicago Fire season 11 premiere almost got her killed after her honeymoon intruder sought her. Luckily, Severide got to them just in time to apprehend the criminal. Aside from this, the nature of their work as prominent members of Chief Boden’s Firehouse 51 routinely forces them to go on dangerous situations, which is what happens to Stella in the upcoming episode of the first responder procedural. Despite seeing her injured before following a mission that went awry, it’s still worrying to see her knocked unconscious and rushed to the hospital, especially since Chicago Fire has a tendency to pull unexpected deaths to keep its story fresh.
However, the chances of NBC killing the character at this point are very slim to none. While she’s expected to survive this ordeal, expect more complications for Stella and Severide moving forward on Chicago Fire season 11. Co-showrunner Andrea Newman has previously teased that troubles are coming for Stella and Severide, although she didn’t get into specifics about what they may be about. Perhaps this accident could set up said problems. Otherwise, it could be a totally personal issue that stems from differing opinions about how they move forward with their relationship. What To Expect From Chicago Fire Season 11B There’s obvious interest in seeing where Severide and Stella’s relationship goes down the road, but that’s not the only active narrative on the One Chicago show. Chicago Fire season 11 fall finale brought back conniving paramedic, Emma Jacobs, who is out to carry out her revenge plan against Violet. After the death of Chief Hawkins, expect that things will only get more difficult for her in the near future. Elsewhere, Sylvie continues to move forward after her break-up with Casey, which could mean a brand-new flame for her at the back end of Chicago Fire season 11.
