Next week, EastEnders is set to broadcast high-stakes scenes for Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) as she grapples with her deadly secret.

The BBC soap previously disclosed that Nicola was behind the murder of her eldest son Harry’s (Elijah Holloway) ex-girlfriend Shireen, who had been missing for four years.

Viewers saw Nicola discover that her violent gang had concealed Shireen’s body by burying it in a deserted warehouse in Dartford, Kent, a location once familiar to the extended Mitchell family.

After reconciling with Nicola, Teddy planned to embark on a business venture with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) in the Dartford area. However, Nicola attempted to dissuade him, worried that her secret might be exposed.

In the upcoming week, Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) seeks explanations from Nicola about the circumstances surrounding Shireen’s premature death four years ago, reports Plymouth Live.

When the businessman insists that their son Harry deserves to know the truth about his former girlfriend, Nicola argues that it will derail him.

Teddy is reluctantly compelled to remain silent, but younger son Barney (Lewis Bridgeman) senses something is amiss between his parents, and inadvertently gives his mum Nicola something to ponder.

Later in the week, Teddy confronts Nicola and instructs her to cease whatever she’s doing, as he has another plan.

Teddy halts work at the site, and he and Nicola strike a deal with gangster Benji, who is aware of Shireen’s death.

Nicola makes the decision to sell Harry’s Barn to pay off Benji, but Teddy proposes an alternative solution.

However, she is left dumbfounded by Teddy’s actions, leading them into a complex predicament.

The situation escalates when Nicola is confronted by an intruder while alone at Harry’s Barn.

At this point, Nicola is faced with a moment of truth, but has someone discovered that she was responsible for Shireen’s death?
