Recent episodes reveal Tom secretly securing a job interview in Wales, misleading Belle into thinking the move would be temporary. In tonight’s episode, Tom takes a covert phone call confirming another interview for a veterinary position in Wales. “She’s totally on board. Belle loves the Welsh countryside; the quieter, the better,” he tells his potential employer during a dog walk. When Belle and Tom are invited to a meal at Cain and Moira’s to support Matty, Tom expresses his displeasure, sarcastically remarking, “A bunch of Dingles talking over each other—how relaxing.” He then suggests an immediate holiday to Wales, promising to find the perfect getaway spot for them.
