discovery about Tom, and deciding not to continue with her pregnancy, Belle takes drastic measures to leave the village without his knowledge. Tom has been closely monitoring Belle, using a camera in their home and an app on her phone to track her every move. Belle uncovers this shocking truth in upcoming scenes and is horrified. Recently, she found out she was pregnant, succumbing to Tom’s pressure to start a family. However, Tom has been coercively controlling her for months, and his behavior turned violent recently.

When Tom attempted to hit Belle earlier this month, she revealed her pregnancy to stop him. Despite Tom’s promises to change for the sake of the baby, Belle knew she did not want to go through with the pregnancy but feared his reaction. Last week, Tom locked Belle in the house during a fire, later accusing her of setting it herself. This, combined with her latest discovery about his tracking, convinces Belle that she cannot continue with the pregnancy. After making an appointment at the abortion clinic, Belle is desperate to find a way to get there without Tom noticing. He has sold her car, keeps her within sight, and follows her everywhere. On the day of the appointment, Belle sees an opportunity to flee undetected.
