Billy Burke Hopes to Explore Vince’s Midlife Crisis in Fire Country Season 3

As the cast of Fire Country gears up for the exciting start of Season 3,

they’re already sharing their dream storylines for their characters.

During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly at the CBS Fall Schedule Celebration,

actors Billy Burke, Jordan Calloway, and Jules Latimer discussed the directions they’d like to see their characters take.

Burke’s Vision for Vince
Billy Burke, who plays Vince, humorously suggested that he’d like to see his character experience a midlife crisis. “I would like to see these people sitting around in the firehouse perhaps playing charades,” he quipped. He emphasized the importance of exploring life outside of the intense, tragic events that usually dominate the series, noting, “There’s been a lot of talk about it. We’re gonna try to deal with [and] see what these people do when there’s no tragedy going on.”

Character Development in Season 3
Jules Latimer echoed Burke’s sentiments, expressing excitement about the potential for deeper character development in the upcoming season. “With a third season, we’re gonna dive into character[s] and what we do outside of the incidents. At least that’s what Billy wants to have happen!” she said, highlighting the opportunity for the cast to explore their characters’ lives beyond the flames.

The Heart of Fire Country
The CBS series follows Bode Donovan (Max Thieriot), an inmate looking to shorten his prison sentence by participating in the California Conservation Camp Program. Assigned to his hometown, Bode reconnects with family and friends while striving for redemption.

Conclusion
As Fire Country prepares for its third season, the cast’s enthusiasm for character exploration promises an engaging blend of humor and depth. With Burke’s vision for Vince and Latimer’s insights on character growth, fans can look forward to a season that dives into the personal lives of the firefighters, offering a fresh perspective on their experiences.
