Brace yourselves, because the long-simmering feud between The Bold and the Beautiful’s Steffy and Hope

is about to explode. For months, Steffy has warned that Hope would eventually break Thomas’s heart. Now that her prediction has come true, things are about to get very messy. Steffy is furious with Hope for leading Thomas on and making him believe he had a chance with her. “How dare she,” Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who plays Steffy, tells us. Steffy is going to make sure Hope and anyone else who will listen know exactly how she feels about Hope breaking Thomas’s heart.

It’s no secret that there’s no love lost between Hope and Steffy, a situation that predates Hope’s involvement with Thomas or even the decades-long rivalry between their mothers over Ridge. As Wood sums up in character, “The Logan women are always up to absolutely no good.” The fact that these women have to work together adds a whole new dynamic to the situation. Steffy, as the co-CEO alongside her dad Ridge, has a certain power over her rival.

Would Steffy like to fire Hope? “Absolutely,” Wood muses, but that’s entirely up to head writer Brad Bell and his team. Imagine the fallout if Steffy fired Brooke’s daughter! Ironically, Steffy’s fury would likely be doubled if she realized just how much time Hope has been spending with Finn in the aftermath of Sheila’s death.

Hope finds herself in a no-win situation. If she had accepted Thomas’s proposal, it’s unlikely Steffy would have welcomed her with open arms. Yet by doing the sensible thing and admitting she’s not ready to become Mrs. Thomas Forrester, she has only infuriated Thomas’s family. Given everything else going on in her life, Steffy no doubt relishes the chance to vent her anger on Hope.

As for Wood, she admits that filming the feud scenes with her co-star Annika Noelle, who plays Hope, is a blast. “The feud stuff with Hope is great fun for Annika and me,” she shares. “We really get into character and go for it.”
