Following a startling revelation in the Tom King abuse plot, a prominent
figure from Emmerdale has given a major indication about her impending return.
Viewers have been witnessing Tom, played by James Chase, control and harass his
wife Belle Dingle, played by Eden Taylor-Draper, for a number of months. After seeing his bad behavior, she eventually dumped him and even reported him to the police.
But Tom’s not one to back down easily, going to extreme lengths like planting cameras in her gaff and sneaking spyware onto her laptop to keep tabs on her every move.
And if that wasn’t vile enough, the creep seemingly bumped off her beloved pooch Piper, leaving Belle in bits. In recent scenes, it’s come out that Tom’s now getting cosy with Amelia (Daisy Campbell), which has Belle in a right state, fearing for the lass.
Despite Belle’s attempts to clue in Amelia about Tom’s dodgy ways, he’s managed to spin it so Belle comes across as green-eyed and off her rocker. But with Tom and Amelia’s new fling out in the open, an ex-Emmerdale fave has spoken up, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Kelli Hollis, who played Ali Spencer from 2011 to 2015, has popped up in a fresh social media clip saying she’s “not happy” about their hook-up. Fans will remember Ali as Amelia’s mum she left the show in 2015 and her character met a grim end off-screen in a car crash three years later.
Actress Kelli Hollis has taken to TikTok to express her astonishment at her on-screen daughter’s latest storyline in Emmerdale, where she’s involved with abuser Tom. “Amelia! Amelia! What is going on at Emmerdale? ” exclaimed Kelli, reacting to a news piece about the controversial plot.
She continued: “Yes, it’s me your mother, from heaven. What are you doing Emmerdale? ! I knew you’d do this! I knew you were going to put him with my Amelia.”
Kelli didn’t hold back her feelings: “What are you trying to do to me? ! Poor Amelia. So she’s lost me her mum, her aunty, god knows where her brother is, her dad’s in jail, and now they’ve got this lunatic? ” Hinting at a possible comeback, she added: “Come on Emmerdale you can’t do this to me. I can’t keep sitting and watching and not be able to do anything anything about it!”.
She humorously suggested she might have to intervene from beyond the grave: “So I guess I’m going to have to tell her from the grave. Amelia, stay away from him! Don’t make me come back and haunt you,” she joked. Reflecting on the storyline, Kelli said: “I called this, about three weeks ago. I knew it. Not happy Emmerdale, nope!”
