7 other huge affairs that have happened behind Home Farm doors as Dawn calls things off with Joe

Dawn Fletcher and Joe Tate had their Emmerdale affair exposed to everyone this week – right before Joe was pushed out of a window! But they are certainly not the first pair to have carried on behind the closed doors of Home Farm.

In fact, lady of the manor, Kim Tate herself, has conducted plenty herself!

Home Farm is a popular location for Emmerdale affairs. Here’s who has cheated behind the famous doors.

Dawn Fletcher and Joe Tate in Emmerdale

When they first met just after Will Taylor’s death, Dawn hated Joe on sight. She even thought he had murdered her dad at first. But gradually hate turned to lust, which apparently turned to love and the pair began playing away behind her husband Billy’s back.

Dawn tried to end it several times, insisting she loved Billy. But every time she came running back to Joe and eventually decided to break up her family for him.

It’s a decision she may live to regret now she knows all about Joe’s antics, including him threatening Clemmie. He clearly isn’t the man she thought he was (well, we could have told her that!). But can they make it? If Joe survives his attack, will their love be everlasting?

Kim Tate and Dave Glover came before Dawn and Joe in Emmerdale

The affair between Kim and Dave started as purely physical attraction as she was bored in her marriage to Frank Tate. But it quickly turned into more and pair fell in love.

In Dave the farmhand, Kim Tate found some excitement. Their affair spanned various places, including Home Farm, the stables and hotels. The affair was discovered when Frank planted hidden cameras in Dave’s cottage.

Kim soon discovered she was pregnant and went on to give birth to a boy named James. She was devastated to learn Frank was the father of James, and not Dave.

Dave went on to marry Kathy, but his heart remained with Kim. The pair planned to run away together, but in a cruel twist of fate, Dave died while rescuing James from a fire at Home Farm.

Lady Tara Oakwell and Biff Fowler

The women of the manor liking a bit of rough seems to be a popular theme, and Lady Tara was no exception. She fell for her driver Biff, who she hired after losing her license.

The relationship was short lived though and Biff finished with her after she evicted his friends from their homes.

Tara soon agreed to marry Michael Thornfield, who was a wealthy lord. But Biff was always on her mind and the night before her wedding, Tara cheated on her fiancé with Biff.

Biff wanted Tara to be with him, but in the end, Tara chose money over love. Silly girl.
