have been left in awe over a ‘beautiful’ Pride scene, which saw Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin
(Balvinder Sopal and Heather Peace) reflect on Suki’s first Pride event. Suki and Eve headed to Soho over the weekend to enjoy the Pride celebrations, and Eve expressed her pride at Suki for attending. For a long time, Suki had struggled to accept her sexuality, and dealt with internalised homophobia. This sometimes came between her relationship with Eve, though eventually she managed to accept herself and pursue what she truly wanted. Eve painted a vivid picture of how they had spent their weekend for viewers, revealing how Suki had even met some of her friends. Even the arrival of ex-husband Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) like a dark cloud couldn’t dampen their spirits, as the pair publicly showed each other affection – something they had been too afraid to do last year. Nish made his feelings about Suki’s new life clear, directing homophobic digs at the couple, but Suki was quick to retort back. Will Nish ever let Eve and Suki live in peace – or will he continue to pester them until his dying day? Viewers will know that Nish doesn’t have long left to live, and his family have been fighting to win his inheritance – but who will come out on top?
